What we speak when we verbalize the experience of space and time. We talk about what we are or we talk about what we see. The experience of being in space and time delimits a phenomenological object that contains itself. The poetics of intersubjectivity is a proposal of critical epistemology to solve the old question of context and circumstance. We are what we are through expereiencia in the world, at the same time that what we do and how we do it shapes who we are. We propose an epistemology in which the subject participates in the construction of its object. A formula in which the one is concretized in the whole. In this book, which is based in the Baixa de Lisboa, we work on some conceptual issues related to the poetics of intersubjectivity. In a first moment we work the poetics of time. Time as a social phenomenon inscribed in change as a linker between communities. We look at their memories, their techniques, their rituals and the different narratives that allow us to create scales of observation of the intensity and extensiveness of phenomena. Scales that are observed in the continuities and ruptures of these phenomena, visible through memories and forgetfulness. The narratives of legitimation.
