O caranguejo do Saara (Sahara’s crab) is a memoir book of a journalist who covered twice the Paris-Dakar Rally. It chronicles the experience of crossing the African desert, focusing on the sidelines of the competition, like the native people, the landscapes, the remarkable situations, the cultural contrasts. The book is illustrated by photographs taken by the author.
